THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES

Summary:

 
Holmes and Watson are called to investigate the strange crimes apparently related to the ancient curse that weighs on the Baskerville family. The "killer" seems to be a "huge black dog-shaped animal, though larger than any other ever seen by a human creature." Attracted by the mystery of the case, our protagonists are soon caught up in a labyrinth of old superstitions and dark revenges, in the threatening and sinister scenery of the Dartmoor moorlands.

 

My opinion: 

 

It was a very good reading and I liked it a lot. I had heard a lot about it and finally we had read it in English class. The end of the book surprised me a lot and I think I will read more books by the same author. Until another.

 

 

RAG 'N' BONE MAN

Singer-songwriter Rory Graham has an amazing , soulful voice: listen to his single "Human". But what a bizarre stage name! A "rag 'n' bone man" collects junk which can be reused. Rory does this too. He creates a new sound form old jazz, soul and blues music!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Fans of Emma Watson will love her in the role of Beauty in this new films version of the classic fairy tale. And fans of the Disney animated film from 1991 will love it too because it has all the same songs, suspense and drama. Everyone else will be charmed because it's simply a great story about true love!

A FORMAL EMAIL

Dear Sir,

I am writing to complain about a poor holiday accommodation where I stayed last weekend. The description of your website claims that the hotel was very good quality and the images that you show are not good, unfortunately, all is really wrong.

In the first place, when I arrived, the room was extremely dirty and different from what I thought. The beds weren’t made, the bathroom was very small and the floor was damaged.

In the website it was very different. The rooms were bigger and it was cleaner, so this is very disappointing.

Secondly, the meals were simple and not very good. However, the service was not efficient. The waiters were very rude. The only thing that I liked was the Spa. It was very entertaining and relaxing.

Personally, this hotel is not the same one that you advertised. I am enclosing the set with this letter and I would appreciate a full refund.

THE BEST HOLIDAYS I HAVE EVER BEEN ON

The best holidays I have ever been on it was 7 years ago. I went to Disneyland Paris with my mother, my father and my sister.

I spend a week there and we went to the atractions the first and the second day but the others days we visited Paris and all the tourist's places. The best food that I tasted was the hotel breakfast. There were pancakes and I never eat it before! It was delicious!

In conclusion, the thing that I love the most of the trip was spend all the time with my family  and have a good holidays with them.

A POSTCARD ABOUT SAM'S HOLIDAYS

Last year, my friend Sam went to South America with his friends. He told me that the weather was too hot and very sunny. He stayed there for 2 weeks because he wanted to spend the holidays in an exotic place. He liked the beaches that he visited but he didn't ike the extremely hot weather because he felt bad sometimes.
