ITALY 2017

MY TRIP TO ITALY

Hi everyone!

My name is Laura and now I'm going to talk about my trip to Italy!

Our trip started the Monday 3rd of April. We met at school at 5.00 am and we went by bus to Barcelona. When we arrived, we took a flight with Milan's destination. After that, we traveled by bus again, but this time we went to Sirmione, a beautiful city surrounded by water. There we had lunch and then we return to the bus to arrive to Verona. We left the bags in the hotel and after that we visited the Arena and Romeo and Juliet's house. At the evening we had dinner and we went to rest.

The second day we took a train to go to Venecia, the city that everyone wanted to see. There we visited the Rialto's bridge, Saint Mark's square and basilica, and a glass workshop too. There, a men created a sculpture of glass in only 5 minutes! After visiting all the monuments, we had lunch and ate an ice-cream. There are the most delicious pizzas I've ever tasted! After this experience we returned to Verona.

The following day we packed the bags and we went to Florence by train. We were walking around the city till the night basically to know a little bit the city and then we returned to the hotel. The fourth day we visited a lot of things like: la galeria dels Uffizi, Santa Maria del Fiore, el baptisiteri, el palazzo Vecchio, la loggia dels Lanzi, el ponte Vecchio, el David... Basically, the fourth day was the most intensive and the day that I liked the most.

On last day, we packet the bags and we saw Florència from the Piazza Miquelangelo, and then we visited a city named Lucca. There we ate a snack and we walked around the city. After Lucca, we went to Pisa and there we visited the cathedral, el baptisteri, the tower...There we took lots of photos and we bought the lasts things. After this we went to the airport where the flight was delayed, and we were spending time until it left. Finally we arrived home on Saturday early morning.

It was a beautiful experience and I think I will travel to Italy soon again!
